Cookie Policy
Nutea Farms runs a deliberately light website. This page explains the cookies and similar technologies we may use, and how you can control them in your browser.
This is practical starter wording to help explain how our site works; it is not legal advice. Because cookie use sits under Irish and EU ePrivacy and data protection rules, Nutea Farms should have a qualified solicitor review the final text before relying on it, and update this page if we add analytics or other tools.
A cookie is a small text file that a website can store on your device when you visit. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in much the same way. They are widely used to help a site function, remember simple choices and understand how it is being used.
A light website, kept simple
Nutea Farms is a small local grower, and our site is built to match. We do not run advertising networks, profiling or marketing tracking. The technologies we use are limited to what helps the site work and helps you place an enquiry with us.
Essential and functional cookies
Some cookies or local storage are needed for basic site operation. The clearest example is our shopping cart, which is really an enquiry tool rather than a checkout. To remember the items you are gathering before you contact us, your browser may store that list locally on your own device. This keeps your selection from disappearing as you move around the site.
These essentials are not used to track you across other websites. They simply let the basics work.
Third-party requests
To display the site cleanly, your browser may make requests to third parties, for example to load web fonts. When that happens, those providers may receive standard technical information, such as your device's IP address, as part of delivering the content. We keep these third-party requests to a minimum.
Analytics
We do not currently run third-party analytics. If we add a simple analytics tool later, it would only be to understand how many people visit and which pages are useful, so we can improve the site. We will update this page if that changes, so please check back from time to time.
Managing or blocking cookies
You are in control. Every major browser lets you view, block or delete cookies and clear local storage through its settings or privacy menu. You can also browse in a private or incognito window. Please note that if you block the storage our cart relies on, the enquiry cart may not remember your selection — though you can always reach us directly by email or phone instead.
Privacy, ePrivacy and your rights
How we handle any personal information is covered separately in our Privacy Policy. Our use of cookies is intended to follow Irish and EU rules, including the ePrivacy regulations and the GDPR. If you have any questions about cookies or your data, please email contact@nuteafarms.com or call +353 83107 0699 and we will be glad to help.
