Who we are

NuTea Farms is a small, local grower of fresh microgreens based in Wexford, Ireland. For anything to do with your personal data and this policy, we are the data controller. You can reach us by email at contact@nuteafarms.com or by phone or WhatsApp on +353 83 107 0699.

We keep data handling as simple and personal as the way we grow. This page explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have under Irish and EU data protection law.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to answer you and to grow and deliver your order. That usually means:

• The details you give us when you enquire or order — your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, and the content of your messages.
• Your delivery or collection address and order details, such as the microgreens and quantities you would like.
• Basic website and cookie data when you visit, explained in our Cookie Policy.

There is no automated checkout or card payment on our website, so we do not collect or store card details here.

Voice assistant calls

NuTea Farms does not store Voice audio recordings or full Voice transcripts. When you choose the Voice assistant, limited call details may be stored for customer service, operational follow-up and reliable notification. These may include your name, town or area, approximate call duration and a short factual topic. If you make a genuine enquiry that needs staff action, the record may additionally include the phone number, email address and enquiry details you provide.

Voice audio is sent to Google Gemini to operate the live conversation. After the limited call record is safely stored, a staff notification is delivered through a private Telegram destination. Telegram is a notification channel and is not the only record of the call.

Why we use it and our lawful bases

We use your information to reply to enquiries, confirm availability, and arrange your order and its collection or delivery. Our lawful bases are usually contract (to fulfil an order you have asked for) and legitimate interests (to run a small grower honestly and respond to you). We only send marketing or updates where you have given consent, and you can withdraw it at any time.

Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where it is needed to run the business — for example with a trusted delivery courier, our email and website hosting providers, Google Gemini when you choose the Voice assistant, and Telegram for private staff notifications. These providers only receive what is needed for their role.

How long we keep it

We keep your details only as long as we need them — to handle your enquiry or order, support any follow-up, and meet legal or accounting obligations. Limited Voice call operational records are kept for up to 90 days by default, unless a different period is required for a legitimate operational or legal reason. Unresolved Telegram notifications are not deleted before delivery is resolved. After the applicable period, records are deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to access your data, and to ask us to correct, erase, restrict or port it, and to object to certain uses. To exercise any of these, just email us at contact@nuteafarms.com or call +353 83 107 0699, and we will help.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland at www.dataprotection.ie.

Security and changes

We take reasonable care to keep your information safe and to limit who can see it. No system is ever completely secure, but we work to protect what you share with us. We may update this policy from time to time, and the latest version will always be here on this page.
