Refund & Returns Policy
We grow in small batches and cut fresh to order, so we cannot accept returns of perishable produce — but we always stand behind our quality. If something is not right, tell us promptly and we will put it right.
This is practical starter wording to help you get going; because it touches Irish and EU consumer law, Nutea Farms should have a qualified solicitor review the final text — particularly the perishable-food cooling-off exemption — before relying on it.
Fresh, perishable produce
Nutea Farms microgreens are living, perishable food, cut fresh to order. For food-safety and hygiene reasons, fresh produce generally cannot be returned or exchanged once it has been delivered or collected. We ask you to store and use your microgreens promptly to enjoy them at their best.
The 14-day cooling-off period
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and the Irish Consumer Rights Act 2022, the usual 14-day right to cancel a distance purchase does not apply to goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly. Fresh microgreens fall into this category, so this cooling-off period does not apply to your order. This does not affect your other statutory rights, set out below.
If something is not right
We take real pride in what we grow, and we want every order to arrive in great condition. If your microgreens arrive damaged, not fresh, incorrect, or otherwise not as they should be, please contact us promptly — ideally within 24 hours of delivery or collection.

How we put it right
We will look into every concern fairly and openly. Where a problem is confirmed, we will, as appropriate, arrange a replacement on your next delivery or a refund. As a small local grower, we would much rather sort things out personally than hide behind fine print.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Irish consumer law. Goods we supply must be of satisfactory quality, as described, and fit for their purpose. If they are not, you are entitled to the remedies provided by law, and this policy sits alongside those rights rather than replacing them.
How refunds are made
We do not yet take payment through an automated online checkout — orders, prices and payment are arranged with you directly when we confirm your order. Where a refund is due on a paid order, we will return it using the original payment method, or another method we agree with you.
